Milk Solids & Cocoa: For a richer, fuller cup — real milk solids and real cocoa, not flavoring agents.
The Spice Blend: A warm, traditional mix of turmeric, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom — the same spices found in a cup of chai, added for warmth, color, and comfort.

Does Alt-Cha contain tea leaves, caffeine, or tannins?
No Alt-Cha does not contain tea or coffee. Also Alt-Cha is largely free from other sources of high caffeine content and high tannin content, ensuring it won't disrupt sleep schedules or cause the jitters associated with traditional tea or coffee. (Do note that some low caffeine is naturally present in cocoa and low tannins are naturally present in spices)

Is Alt-Cha suitable for toddlers under 3?
No, Alt-Cha is not suitable for toddlers below 3 years of age. We recommend keeping it as a nourishing treat for the kids above 3 years, and for adults. This is because it does contains jaggery and sugar as sweeteners which are best avoided to very young kids below 3 years of age.
Why does Alt-Cha still have sugar if it's a clean, honest brand?
Because kids need sweetness to actually enjoy the cup, and we'd rather be upfront about it than pretend otherwise. Alt-Cha's warmth and richness come from a roasted cereal flour mix of oats and amaranth, real milk solids, real cocoa, and a warm spice blend — and that base is sweetened with jaggery and a modest amount of sugar, clearly informed on the front of the pack, and not buried or hidden in fine print.
We chose not to use new age sugar alternatives like stevia or monk fruit extract, since they haven't been studied as much for children's use as long as sugar has. Being "honest" doesn't mean being sugar-free. It means telling you exactly what's in the cup, and why.
How do I prepare the perfect cup of Alt-Cha?
It's simple! Take one teaspoon (approximately 10–15 grams) of Alt-cha powder and mix it thoroughly into a hot cup of milk or water. or alternatively brew it like regular tea. No need to strain.
Can it be served cold?
Yes! While we highly recommend enjoying it in hot or warm milk to fully unlock its comforting, spiced aroma, Alt-cha can absolutely be consumed as a cold beverage if you prefer a refreshing chilled twist.
How many times a day can I have Alt-Cha?
Because Alt-cha is very low on caffeine and tannins, it won't disrupt your sleep or give you the jitters. You can safely enjoy Alt-cha upto 3-4 times a day whenever you need a mindful pause.
